Guys, I apologize for the lateness of the post. I’m still struggling with my health and I ended up getting sick this afternoon and completely spaced the theme post and that it was even Saturday! Luckily, I remembered in the nick of time (at least in my neck of the woods).
I’m not going to spend any more time rambling on about things, so let’s just get right to it. Let’s put on our thinking caps, break out our playlists and get to work! Our theme for Song Lyric Sunday this week is new.
As always, you can go your own way and post a song that has nothing to do with the prompt. We’re all here sharing our love of music and lyrics, and most of all, having a great time!
If you would like to suggest a theme, I am open to suggestions. Please either pop it in the comments or send me an email at helenvahdati@yahoo.com.
Here are the “rules”:
- Post the lyrics to the song of your choice, whether it fits the theme or not
- Please try to include the songwriter(s) – it’s a good idea to give credit where credit is due and it’s honestly just a simple Google search
- Make sure you also credit the singer/band and provide a link to where you found the lyrics
- Link to the YouTube video, or pull it into your post so others can listen to the song
- Ping back to this post or my own Song Lyric Sunday post
- Read at least one other person’s blog so we can all share new and fantastic music and create amazing new blogging friends in the process
Feel free to use the Song Lyric Sunday badge by copying it into your post or add it to your site to show you are participating.
I understand health struggles all too well. Here’s to good health, good times, and good music in 2019!
Hope you’re feeling better soon! 😊

Helen, I totally understand about fighting illness and pain. I actually stopped blogging in mid-November because I needed to devote more time to self-care. However, even though my pain and other conditions are still there, I feel stronger and renewed. At least for writing. Take care of yourself and I hope you do have a better and healthier 2019.
I will hopefully participate in your next SLS.
Lydia!

Thank you for your kind words. I’m not really sure what to do about my blog yet. It has become more stress than I need right now, but I’m also not sure I want to give it up. Time will tell. I’m happy to hear you’re feeling better. Happy New Year!
