Song Lyric Sunday – Superstition by Stevie Wonder

I hope you all know that sometimes even I struggle with my own themes. Today was a slog. I thought for sure that I would go through my library and find something, but I was about an hour into it when my son walked by. He asked what I was doing and I told him. This was the first song he mentioned and when we looked it up, sure enough, it mentions glass.

I’ve never really asked for help and I’m going to enjoy that someone else picked my song for me today. Besides, I don’t think you can go wrong with Stevie Wonder. It was a great listen on this beautiful Sunday morning.

As a side note, I just did this to myself last weekend. I was watching my favorite tennis player and he wasn’t doing very well, so I started crocheting. As soon as I did that, he started playing better. I told my husband that I couldn’t stop crocheting because it was helping him play better. I’m not sure I suffered (other than my wrists from crocheting so much) because I was able to work on a project and presumably help him with his game. I suppose the suffering came when he lost the match despite my busily crocheting hands.

Superstition is a crazy thing, but for some reason, I think we still all fall victim to it.

I hope you enjoy this classic!

The lyrics are in the video, so I won’t put them here. The song is written by Stevie Wonder.

The Song Lyric Sunday theme for this week was glass.  Please feel free to click the link, read the rules and post one of your own.
