I was in a funk today for some reason. I was bugged about the day job and feeling down about life in general, so I decided to stop by and have a visit with my new favorite person. I was only planning on staying for 30 minutes or so, but two hours later, I realized it was going to be hard to leave.
Could you leave that face?
(I realize that photo is a little blurry, but he has the cutest, funniest look on his face.)
I’m not sure I have much to say except that I had a lovely visit feeding my nephew and holding him for almost three hours straight. I also had an amazing chat with my sister-in-law, who is pretty much my sister, if I’m being completely honest. I’m so happy for her and my brother! They are the sweetest little family.
I’ve just decided that words aren’t really happening tonight, so I’m going to overwhelm you with photos, turning this into the quickest jot in a long while for me. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
He pretty much did this the whole time, especially after he ate
He passed out after I fed him and I realized he wasn’t going to give me one last burp
I just had to get one of him really pissed off. He was starving and his mom was in the kitchen warming up a bottle. Babies cries are the cutest thing – until of course it’s been three hours and they are still screaming… in the middle of the night. That’s why I’m so happy to be an auntie!
This one’s just cute as hell
And yeah… baby yawns!
Just Jot It January is hosted by Linda G Hill. I apologize for not using today’s prompt. I just couldn’t bring myself to write about skulls after overwhelming myself with baby! The skull prompt was brought to us today by Dean Kealy at Dean’z Doodlez.
