Five Photos Five Stories – Day Five

Sunlight

Blinding light tears through
Dark fears evaporate
Mists on the breeze
Floating idly by
Watching
Waiting
For the time when light
Fails
Darkness settles
Fears rage
Waiting for bright
Blessed warmth
Safely enveloped in beloved arms
Fleeting, floating
Sunlight

Here are the rules for the “Five Photos Five Stories” challenge: “Post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo. It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or a short paragraph and each day nominate another blogger for the challenge.”

As I mentioned in the first post, my son, Jaxon, took the photos I am using.

My final nomination goes to Linda G Hill.

I apologize for being a day late with this one, but better a day late than never, right? Thanks again to Prajakta for nominating me for the challenge.

  1. Thanks so much, Helen! This might be just what I need to get me back into some realm of regularity in my blogging habits. 🙂 I have an idea for the first one already.
I love the photo and the poem too! I can almost feel the warmth of the sun on my skin… Beautifully put together, my dear. 🙂
